Ocho Rios Bars and Nightclubs Are Fun
Most of the crowds that visit Ocho Rios are usually visitors from the cruise ships that dock at the port during the course of the day. Therefore, the nightlife in Ocho Rios is also different as compared to the rest of the places in Jamaica. That does not mean that the bars and nightclubs are not happening spots – they definitely are fun. Jamaica is home to the legendary reggae artist Bob Marley and the ideal place where you can enjoy music and dance both on the beaches and at the bars and nightclubs.
Come night and Ocho Rios reverberates to the sound of reggae music and soca dancing. Most of the bars and nightclubs are situated within the big resorts here and majority of the best local talents are hired by them to perform exclusively for their guests. The music at Jamaica’N Me Crazy is amazing but it is part of Sunset Jamaica Grande Resort & Spa. Thus if you want to listen to some great music you would have to find a way to get inside the resorts, which by the way is quite difficult if you are not a guest there.
The famous Margaritaville Caribbean Bar & Grill, with branches in Ochi and MoBay is a great place to hang out. And, you don’t even have to worry about access, since it is among the few bars and nightclubs in Ocho Rios that are owned by individuals and is not part of any resort. Amnesia is another such place where the music is good and the crowd is great. Both are ideal for a night out with friends and family. Visitors to “Ochi” will definitely agree if one says that the bars and nightclubs here are a different and fun experience.
