When it does arrive, Warring factions most often steal it away from those that need it and say that, “We are going to Liberate you, so we need the food more than you.” Buying food for a day or two doesn’t help them, even for a year is little to alleviate the persistent problem. We still must continue to aid where and when we can, but we must not feed them only, but address the problems.

Most of the problems around the world are controlled by one factor, mans refusal to accept Jesus as Lord and Christ. God stated that famine will encompass this world and it is coming to pass. There are so many that have been deceived and diluted into believing that there are gods many and lords many, afraid to ask questions for fear of their life, they go as a sheep to the slaughter, their head down and their throat exposed. This darkness grows by the minute and the Spirit of Anti-Christ also grows. If we cant see that the end is growing closer, then we, as the “Light of the World”, are also in darkness. Have you ever tried to look into a mirror, then close your eyes for a minute, and try to remember what you looked like? Its the same way it is with being a light, sometimes we forget what we are all about, our light gets a little softer, not as bright.

We cannot fear the darkness but we must illuminate it. When light and dark comes together, it turns gray, a little less notable, a little less recognizable and a little less helpful. Every country around the world is in the same condition and it gets worse by the minuet. When we go to bed at night some one in their daytime is being killed, starving to death, raped, murdered, sacrificed and recruited into the depth of utter darkness as a suicide bomber. The Apostle Paul stated that, Within Himself there was no good thing. Understanding our relationship with God is of the utmost importance along with the wisdom, knowledge and understanding of His word. I have made mistakes in my Ministry, and I am the first to admit it.

We are not perfect and neither can we be, until the time of Rejoicing with Jesus takes place. Even the Apostle Paul stated that He had not attained perfection but was still striving for it. But even with our faults, we must still be a light. A light in a dark world that is traveling down the road to death and destruction. In Matthew 4:16, we see the effects of being a light in a dark world; “

The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.” many are on the streets seeking after a good feeling and answers as to their purpose in life. Many have given up on trying to be a citizen of any country and only live for the day, hoping to get a bit of food from somewhere. Multitudes are blinded to the light by problems and situations that they have found themselves in. Others have been taught as a Child to not expect any thing good in this life. In Luke 1:79, we see a reason to give light in a dark world. ” To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.

” To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, the darkness of sin and the shadow of eternal death without hope nor escape. A Darkness without the Father. We have read before;” Ye, thou I walk thru the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil;”

The valley spoken of here is the outside world that we step into each and every day. We must be a light, if not, we may have the blood of those that we could have shown the way, on our hands. There is no super Christian, at least I haven’t seen one. We are all the light, shining together as one to open up the darkness and show the way of peace, peace not in this life but rather into the next. Matthew 6:22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. If therefore thine eye be single, meaning that ones purpose in life must be to please the Father in Spirit, without any other agenda. We are sent into the world to fulfill the will of our Father.

Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men (Your Testimony of Jesus.), that they may see your good works (These are the works and actions of not only of the Spirit but also of the flesh.), and glorify your Father which is in heaven. (Seeking only to Glorify God and not of ourselves.)

Luke 11:35 Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness. ( Let not your light be one of self glorification. Keeping your mission always to gain souls for Gods kingdom and not trying to set up your own.) John 1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. The darkness in this world is choking multitudes, killing them from within. The light that we shine is not accepted to many that prefer the darkness and many do not understand the willingness of a Loving God to Save them. Jesus warned us that there will come a time when the darkness of this world will be so great, that no man will be able to work.

Is that time now, or is it near. Let us always be a light, because our work shall soon be over and the night will fall. Is it so hard Being A Light in a Dark World. ars

“Where there is no vision, the people perish …” Pro.29:18

A vision is a dream, a divine idea or a revelation from God concerning a man’s future. The main essence of man’s existence is to have something he is living for and pursuing on a daily basis: a vision. A man without vision is one who lacks direction, sees progress in life as a challenge and he always ends up frustrated.

If we are all living for something, it will be for our own good. The future will become clearer and we will be filled with hope to attend to our everyday challenges. No matter what is happening to him presently, a man with a God-given vision is never bothered because there is a picture he is carrying about that no one else is sseing but himself. Vision has a lot of benefits that comes with it and a man that has one will always be a beneficiary.

Have you ever heard that, “a man who has soemthing to live for never dies?” If you have not, please read the story of Simeon in Luke2:25-29. Vision keeps people alive even if they are right off medically. There are stories of several people that battled death to a stand still just because they have something to live for. Vision also gives meaning to life. Just because you are in a place you know you were not meant to be, will not make your life worthless if you have a vision. You will understand that where you are going is better than where you are and you are only in such a position for a while. Even when others have lost hope, yours will be increasing with each passing day. When others are giving up, you are moving on.

Another importance of vision is that it bring discipline into our lives. People with vision and those without one are miles apart. If you have a vision, you will never waste your time on things that do not matter, you will always do something that will contribute to where you are going everyday. You will understand the value of time and the type of people you hang out with. Everyday when an antelope wakes up, it knows it has to outrun the fastest lion if it has to survive the day and the lion wakes up knowing fully well that if it doesn’t run faster than the fastest antelope, hunger will be his lot for the day. This is the discipline that vision enforces on those who have vision. They just know they have to do something everyday to get to where they are going.

There is no way that you will have a vison that you won’t get to your destination. This is IMPOSSIBLE! The life you will live after you have reached your destination will be far enjoyable than if you have no vision. The vision you have now, will determine where you will be in 5 or 10 years times. I learnt that we take more time in planning our wardrobe, parties and all other smaller things than we plan our future! This is incredible but TRUE! People can deliberate for hours on how they are going to dress to a party but rarely spend minutes to plan for their future! The main reason majority of us look to the future with fear rather than hope is because we have not taken time to plan our future. A visionless future will always be trepidating.

“The world stand aside to let those pass, who know where they are going.” Do you know know where you are going? Do you have a plan for the next five years of your life? If the next five years comes, providing Jesus tarries, will you be happy with where you find yourself?

If you have never asked yourself where you want to be in years to come, there is no better time than now. Ask God to help you in reaching for a destination. He is always ready to reveal our future to us if only we can ask Him, Jer.33:3. I asked Him what he want me to do several years ago and he didn’t fail me so He will NEVER fail you if you can but ASK!

Let me end with these wonderful quotes: “Life means little without purpose. Once his life aim is gone, man simply exists – he does not really live.

“Aspiration is the hand that points us the road that runs heavenward. As your vision is, so will your life be.”

“When people have not decided their destination in life, any road can take them there. if you are not sure where you are going, then any road will take you there. determine where you want to go and be determined NOTHING will ever stop you from getting there!”

God has moments of anger, like as do we. However, some have misconceptions about His response. There’s an unspoken law of consequences between the forces of good and evil, a result of being born into a sinful world.

In observing my daughter, as a very young child, whenever she was disobedient. If I didn’t discipline, she’d suddenly become injured or some other mishap. It was as if God was punishing her, or so I thought.

Once God gave me an example of how it really is.

Imagine yourself standing between the sidewalk and curb. Your hands are wrapped behind your back, tied to a tree. A car is coming and your child runs into the street. You’ve no physical means of reaching that child.

Hearing the speeding car, first thoughts come faster than you can verbalize, “No! The car will hurt you!”

You scream a plea, with anything you think might cause that child to change their direction, before it’s too late. That is how it is with God. Were it any other way, He’d have to take away our freedom of choice.

There are consequences for running out into the street! And, the parent is way beyond distraught even before the accident occurs, because they have a glimpse into the future.

Imagine how God must, sometimes, feel watching His children run the wrong direction. When the consequences come and we didn’t heed God’s warning, God didn’t do it to us.

Think about it. If our parents wouldn’t smack us with a moving vehicle because we didn’t obey, if you wouldn’t run over your child as punishment for not listening … we were made in the image of God and He loves us so much more. The truth is, when consequences come, there is no one else to blame. We would have done it to ourselves.

Prayer

What has the Lord been saying to me? As I begin to write and formulate this article, I am faced with the inevitable question. What is the Lord saying to you. In answer to this question, it is easy to fall into the trap of presenting a sermon on a topic that is on my heart and has been for the preceding week. Instead, I am going to attempt to answer this thought with a more informal response.

The Lord has shown me that His people were first known as :’The Ones who called upon the Lord’. In Genesis 4:26 :”And as for Seth, to him also a son was born and he named him Enosh. Then men began to call on the name of the Lord.”

In Jeremiah 33:3 we read :”Call to me and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know”.

God wants us to call upon Him. In the Book of Acts we read about how the apostles were all in one accord, in one place. They (the apostles) had a habit of meeting and praying daily, in one place in one accord, and thats when the building started to move, thats when the Holy Spirit descended upon them! Praise God! You see even the Apostles who had walked with Jesus, talked with Jesus, ate with Jesus, had to come together in one accord in prayer, before the Holy Spirit moved. This really ministered to me. I have seen what happens when a Church gathers in one accord, in one place in prayer. Mountain moving faith manifests, people get saved, sick get healed, and the Holy Spirit starts to move.

If we as a church would come together in one accord, we too can expect God to show up. Are you ready for the supernatural? The biggest handicap that the Body of Christ faces today is division amongst ourselves. Christ will return for a united body of believers irrespective of doctrinal beliefs and differences. We find in Acts that the disciples were in one accord , praying daily for a period of ten days. The preacher (Peter) did not have any fancy gimmicks, audio visual systems or even any training (as far as we know) in oratory presentation. What he did have was the anointing of the Holy Spirit. We read in Acts 2:41 that three thousand were added to their number.

I believe we as pastors have gone off on a tangent looking for the latest trend in either music or audio visual in an effort to gain believers into the body. While I do not deny the need to remain current in our presenting of the Word, I believe we have lost the urgency to seek the Lord with open hearts, crying out to Him. This is what brings conviction and revival. Men are convicted by the Holy Spirit and not man’s words, audio visual effects or gimmicks.

If we are to study Jeremiah 33:3 the key element in this scripture (in my opinion) is call upon the Lord. As a body of Christ today, we need more calling upon the Lord as ONE body of Christ. We have many parts, but we are one body. Lets unite as one body, and seek God with a new urgency. Hebrews 11:6 says that God rewards those that seek Him. We need to get back to a urgent seeking of God.

Telecom Italia and the famous telecom technology provider Ericsson are all set to launch a new mobile broadband service in Italy this year, which at 28 Mbps will be four times faster than similar 3g internet services in the UK. The technology included in the new Italian service is that of MIMO, which is capable of delivering faster download speeds than most other existing technologies by making use of multiple antenna branches. Of course, problems like distance from the transmission tower, poor weather or low temperatures will lower the download speed for the user.

Recently, Australian firm Telstra had also announced the launch of its 21 Mbps mobile broadband service. The service, which is already being offered to business customers on a priority basis, will be available to the rest of the customers by April. The prices of Telstra’s service are quite high, which has led some to believe that users in Italy too will have to pay a higher amount to benefit from the new service.

It is clear that the UK has a long way to go before it catches up with several other developed countries as far as mobile broadband is concerned.
